It's cozy
Even people who are used to severe conditions of spending nights in mountains would like to lie in a warm clean bed and enjoy homely atmosphere of a wooden house. We offer you accommodation in houses and cottages of our center with various level of comfort.
It's beautiful
Aktru valley is considered to be one of the most amazing places in Altay region. You can enjoy view of the mountains and giant cedars from any window of the center. Within the walking distance you can find numerous breath-taking landscapes.
It's interesting
There are different activities suitable for people with any level of physical fitness. These activities vary from simple walks in the Valley of the Dwarfs to ascents of 6a grade. You can attend training at our climbing school and enjoy extreme downhill snowboarding and skiing.
It's educational
The geographical station of Tomsk State University has been functioning in the valley since the 1950's. Glaciologists, geomorphologists, hydrologists, botanists work there. You can talk to them and learn a lot of new things about nature of the mountains, landscapes, history of science and sport in the Altay.

We happened to visit a mountain fairy tale Aktru located on a cedar island inhabited by kind people and surrounded by the enormous glaciers. We are grateful to Valeriy Ivanovich for his hospitality and warm-heartedness. We also thank our instructors Vladimir Ivanovich and Nikolay for their care, interesting lessons and ascents.

It was our first time to visit such mountains as mountains on our island are not higher than 1,700 meters. I would like to thank you again for the coziness and warm atmosphere of your center. We lived on the first floor of the house Karatash. When I opened my eyes, I saw beautiful pine trees in the window. I still remember the tar smell.
